Soy and carbon: a critical review of policies and (footprint) methodologies

Given the importance of climate change, how can we support soy producers and companies to lower their impact? What are differences in accounting methodologies and what role can science based robust methods play in demonstrating the value of investing in sustainable soy? Last not least: from a bird's eye view: what is the consequence of a (solely) carbon-driven vision and what is the best way to deal with complementary or competing agendas such as the one on biodiversity conservation?
